    PRIVATE CLASSES

  • Enjoy the convenience of having a class on-site!

  • We are happy to come to your location and teach either an Initial or
    Renewal class. (Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas counties no
    additional fee!)

  • Initial class - minimum 6 students
  • Renewal class - minimum 4 students

  • Tuition for class is $35 payable by cash or check (made out to 'ACT')
  • We do not accept debit or charge cards.

    RENEWAL CLASSES

  • You qualify for a Renewal class if you have attended the Initial class
    within the past 7 years.

  • Your test scores from an Alcohol Server Education class remain on
    file for 2 years.

  • A Service Permit is valid for 5 years and expires on your birthdate.

  • If you attended the class and applied for an OLCC Service Permit
    around the same time, you should be eligible for a Renewal class
    when your present permit expires. (You are well within the 7 year limit.)

  • If you attended the class and did not apply for an OLCC Service
    Permit immediately afterwards (perhaps you worked in another
    industry or moved, etc.) or your permit expired more than one year
    ago, you should check your eligibility.

  • Instructors cannot verify your eligibility unless you know the exact
    date that you attended the Initial class. If it is 7 years and 3 days prior
    to the Renewal class, you are not eligible.

  • IF YOU DO NOT QUALIFY AND ATTEND THE RENEWAL CLASS
    ANYWAY, YOU WILL RECEIVE A NOTICE FROM THE OLCC THAT
    TEST SCORES ARE INELIGIBLE AND YOU MUST ATTEND THE
    INITIAL CLASS TO GET A SERVICE PERMIT.

  • Renewal students are required the pass the exam at a higher score
    and are not allowed re-takes. (If a student in the Initial class does not
    pass the exam, they are allowed two re-takes before they are required
    to attend the program again.)
